President’s Message

I’m incredibly honored to be serving as IRUA’s President for a two-year term, working alongside a very engaged Board of Directors, for the purposes of reinsurance education and training; networking; and the dissemination of information relevant to the property & casualty reinsurance industry.

I’ve been actively involved in the IRUA for many years now. And the organization has allowed me to meet and get to know many peers and leaders in our industry that I admire.

It has also enabled me to step up and personally grow. I’ve had the opportunity to take on speaker engagements at IRUA webinars, and later leadership roles in the committees of the IRUA. I’ve worked alongside very open and personable, and very bright and talented people.

The IRUA allows its members to build lasting networks within our industry; to learn about both basic and trending reinsurance topics; to identify and partake in the discussion around new reinsurance trends, at our webinars, and at our annual conference, and in our committees.

And this is what I truly love about the IRUA; it is small, nimble and welcoming. You, regardless of where you’re at in your career, can join our discussions as a participant, or as a speaker or panelist, or as a committee member on one of our IRUA committees. And in doing so, grow in know how, in networking and in leadership.

I invite you to be part of our community, to take advantage of what the IRUA has to offer, to join our committees, and our educational sessions, and to mingle with and get to know your industry peers.
